Compendium of Position Papers and Letters to the Editor

In my political campaign, I focus on three key objectives: listening to voter concerns, presenting specific policies I will pursue, and explaining why voters should choose me as their representative. Through numerous events and conversations since I announced my candidacy in December 2023, I have been actively engaging with voters to understand their concerns. Drawing from my experience in public service at both the local and state levels, I have written position papers and letters to the editor that outline the policies I will prioritize if elected.

I believe my leadership, whether in elected office or as a private citizen, speaks for itself. For example, I have proudly championed the “Southbury Story of 1937” and worked on various initiatives that positively impacted the region. It’s this deliberate leadership style that I aim to bring to the Connecticut General Assembly, focusing on key issues like fiscal responsibility, public safety, and addressing local concerns such as the future of the Southbury Training School.

To make my platform accessible, my volunteer team has compiled all of my position papers and letters
into themes: my approach to politics, my leadership style, state-level issues, and district-specific matters. While each piece can stand alone, together they reflect my readiness to lead in a proactive, transparent,
and collaborative manner. I always welcome feedback on these positions, as I believe working together is
the best way to move our region forward.
